Rob, and his wife Melanie, planted Orlando North in 2007 with a group of courageous men and women. He and Melanie met at Lee University in 1994 when Rob was majoring in Pastoral Ministries. He also received his Masters in Business Administration with a focus on non-profit organizations from Regent University in 2001.

In 1998, Rob served as the youth pastor for a church outside of Greenfield, Indiana. Following that, he served as the young adult pastor and student ministries pastor for almost nine years at Calvary Assembly in Orlando.

Rob’s primary responsibilities with Orlando North include preaching and giving leadership to the staff and volunteers. In addition, Rob speaks at conferences such as Lead Now, Fusion, and Refreshed. In 2007, Rob’s first book, Seldom Familiar, was published. It offers a fresh perspective on the incredible life God intends for Christ’s followers to live while exposing the typical, monotonous life most Christians find themselves surviving.

Rob loves hanging with Melanie and their two kids, Haley and Caeden. For fun, Rob loves to scream at the television when his beloved Michigan Wolverines are playing.
